Phoenix Studios was chosen to develop an innovative means of exploring geography using the web, which had to be both informative and interesting.
Using Flash, Phoenix Studios created an interactive 3D cube to explore the many different aspects of Geography, using high quality photography and design to engage the user. Each face consisted of 9 seperate subsections based around a topic.
Each topic included an interactive gallery with photos and videos, the user can zoom into the photo and playback the videos. It was felt that this was essential in ensuring the site was dynamic and interactive.
The content needed to be edited easily and effectively, therefore a bespoke content management system was created using PHP and MySQL.
